I probably have a right tangle of influences, that'll take far too long to pull apart. But I like pretty much anything and everything, from The Band to Kraftwerk to Sly and Robbie to Rufus Wainwright. Not too keen on classical or metal though. Not fascist about it, just never really connected with it.
Neye Benziyor?
People have told me I remind them of The Incredible String Band, Ray Davies, Davandra Banhart, Syd Barret, Paul Weller, Flaming Lips, Nick Drake and Arnold Swarzenneger (but I think that's just coz I showed them my biceps).
Hello! Come on in. There you go. Feel free to relax, hang around, this is as much your place as it is mine you know! You could grab a cup of tea, or maybe a beer or wine? (unless you don't drink, or have been overdoing it recently, in which case, just whatever you like - maybe some pineapple juice?). I'm a musician from Leicester, England, and I'm always up for playing gigs and performing anywhere and everywhere. I'd be really grateful to know of any opportunites you think I might be interested in - and unusual is fine! I also write songs for other people, so if you want to talk about that too, just give me a shout :-) Hope you have a nice time, and if you're feeling sociable, leave me a comment or send me a message! No pressure though. Oh yeah, this layout is from whateverlife.com by the way.

Hiya Jake. Thanks a lot for your very kind comment. Did all the kids travel to see you and then weren't allowed in? Awful. Reckon the organisers need to check that out before. How absurd for an outdoor afternoon gig. I do hope to catch a set by you before too long. Do tell when you're playing next. Maybe we can have a play together. Lovely, tender tunes. Look forward to hearing more. Fly on! Love. Martin
Hey Jake, Thanks for the kind comments. Myself and my friend Jade were really impressed with your set. You have skills on the guitar! (12 string too!). Beautiful stuff.. I look forward to hearing more from you. Stay in touch. Lisa x
Hi Jake. So sorry I missed ALL of your set in the end. But I thought of you several times during the 45 mins so I hope at least a few of my encouraging vibes reached you. Good to see you again. All the very best. Martin
