Our influences include:Interpol, Radiohead, Muse, Jeff Buckley, Elbow, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, The Smiths, Richard Taylor, Chris Storey, Paul Dennis etc
We aim to sculpt our sound on principles chiefly fashioned by Paul Dennis (professional road crosser and highway perambulator).
In the press, possibly more accurately, but just as confusingly, our sound has been described as 'electro-indie pop', 'dance flecked indie' and even 'twisted dance punk'. Hmm.

// This Is My Lawnmower are a young Manchester band who aim to produce music that is both subtle and angular in equal measure. If byproducts of their musical aims happen to induce dancing, crying or simply make people watch in awe (all have been known), then the band are hardly likely to complain.
