Starporn is a concept. The world of sex and music has been skewed by poor taste and poorer budgets in the Adult Film industry. There is no reason that this kind of music cannot be cool and spiritually uplifting when put to sexual images, and infact, we believe that this is perfectly reasonable and natural thing to expect.
We do not believe in the degradation of either sex. The type of projects much of this music was originally created for are ART, and as with all art, it is subject to the love, hate or indifference of the person that beholds it. This music is intended to be a spiritual bond to the style of the art depicted, and while listening, we hope that your senses will be stimulated in some way.
Many of these songs were originally created for shows or video projects in Japan, then fleshed out and expanded to become entities all their own. Still others are simply creative songs that fit the eletronica-based feel and spritiual road we are pursuing. Sex, love, spiritual enlightenment and mutual understanding are all essential parts to human health, and the music of Starporn will always strive to embody them.
