GOVERNOR FOREMAN, heart and soul of the band, is one of the strongest bass players and soulful singers in the business. He is truly a legend in the Central Illinois Area where he lives in Peoria. Governor started his musical career playing 50/60 Rock and Roll in the early 60 and since then has played in Blues, Rock, R&B, Country, and Southern Rock Bands. His resume consists of playing with a legend of the Blues the late Luther Allison. Governor has also played with Sugar Pie DeSantos, open for Clarence Carter (Stroking), Jackson Five (Michael Jackson), Little Johnnie Taylor and most recently played with Melvin Talyor one of the top Blues guitar players in the United States.. He has played with a vast number of local acts such as Dorann and The Soul Mystics. Steve "The Harp" Blues Band, Cobolt Canopy, Bobbie King's Ladies Choice Band and more.. Governor also has Country Music roots. His band Page 2 won the Central IL Best Country Band Contest in 1992. He played in a number of Country Bands: The Western Echoes (Galesburg IL.), Prairie Fire, Hard to Handle, The G. Foreman Trio. and more... Governor has played events such as the Peoria Rivercity Bluesfest, Budwiser Bluesfest Champaign, IL, Miss. River Bluesfest Quincy, IL, Kingston Mines IL Summer Festival, Washburn IL. Summer Festival, The Best Ball Golf Tournament, Pekin IL., etc... Governor real love of music goes back to the music of 50/60 Rock & Roll.
RANDY ROTH, the melody maker/vocalist/lead guitarist, is the heaviest, most versatile fender bender around. Randy has been a full-time L.A. session player, as well as guitarist for such greats as Graham (Elvis) Walker formally of the Elvis Brothers, Shadows of Night, New Town Heros, The Drifters, Split Decision, Kid Zero, Smokehouse, Gigolo, The Jettz and The Young Turks (Rod Stewart Tribute Band). This fantastic guitarist has also had his own bands such as Rothschild, Randy Roth and M80s, etc... Randy has had the pleasure operning for Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Judest Priest, honey Moon Suite, Rick Derringer, Blues Deluxe, Canned Heat, and Styx. He's appeared on a number of TV Shows: Martin Mull, Good Morning LA with Bob Hilton, New Wave Theater, WGN Chicago Morning News and LA's Mayor Bradley's Shows.
BUTCH CARROLL, the back bone and drummer, provides the pulsating rhythm and grooves for the band. His resume includes gigs stretching from Peoria, IL to Tampa, FL. He has played with greats such as Innercity Soul and also Flash. He has opened for The Allman Brothers, Burton Garr, and also Georgia Blues Boy, Eric Culverson. he has also worked with Bob Shier, the President of Kingsnake Records and head of R&B Entertainment in Tampa, FL. as well as many peoria bands and musicians such as the late lengendary chuck ely, springfield based country band the billy mack jack band and the harpin willie band featuring barry harpin willie wilson himself. and recently been helping out the 3rd degree blues band on a few of there gigs. email me at butchcarroll@yahoo.com
