Hellfire Club was set up in September 2005 as an attempt to stitch old delta blues and magik together using laptop patches, amplifiers and electricity.
We've been nicely described by AU as:
"Somewhere between Sonic Youth and Jonny Cash"
and by Francis Jones as:
"Combining Backwoods Blues and raucous Rock and Roll to create a brilliantly unwholesome, down and dirty cacophony. On this evidence the Devil really has got the best tunes." (Culture NI)
Stuff of note might include a video for ATL TV, being played by Col Murray on BBC Radio 1 and supports for BRMC and Howlin' Rain.

Hey guys. Yeah if you send a CD I'd gladly feature your tunes on Green and Live. The address is: Alan Jacques, c/o Green and Live, Limerick Live 95FM, Radio House, Dock Road, Limerick, Ireland. Respect!!!
Given that current technological difficulties dictate that we can record no new music, a “new” old song has been posted. Just a demo really but if you like seven minute long, funereal slowcore dirges then you may just dig it. It’s called ‘This Desert Life’.
Love, MP
PS. Heard you were supporting BRMC - nice one, all the best!
Hey no probs! I actually work in Roast just round the corner from Mark's place. By the way congrats on getting the support act for Black Rebel Motorcycle club that will be a great gig bet you can't wait!
