"...melodic vocals, lush harmonies and pop sensibilities. "strong singers who turn in some effective harmonies. Although there aren't any brothers in this band, they made me think of the Everly Brothers and late-era Split Enz."

Following the May 14, Elmdale House Show, Mike Petersen of Ottawa's "the Flats" was quoted: "Reminded me of a triple bill where Cowded house met the Jayhawks and Wings when Tom Waits walked on stage by chance and sat at the Piano to play “Whats he building in there”...Great tunes!"
An experienced trio, Brennan Pilkington, Chris Thibedeau, and Don Leblanc have a diverse indie rock pedigree that includes histories with Ottawa's "Dept of Foreign Affairs" (DOFA), "That's the Spirit", "Nuginduck", "Jake Love Tart", 'General Electrik", and Halifax's "Purple Helmets".
This melange has emerged into a sound with hints of Wilco, Jayhawks, Neil Finn, Fleet Foxes, Elliott Smith, Sufjan Stevens, Ennio Morricone, and most importantly, Wojciech Kilar's Ninth Gate Sountrack.
