| General | I'm a writer of sorts, which you may have percieved.
A dreamer of dreams which cannot be believed.
But greatest of all, I am prone to be blunt.

| | Music | Anything with a beat. I'm prone to fits of heavy metal, blues, even classical. Carmina Burana is, in my opinion, the most fantastical collection of songs about drinking and orgies since the Poxy Boggards.
I also listen to classic rock, punk, select rap songs (believe it or not, there are rap songs with decent lyrics. I too was shocked), jazz, folk (typically Irish, but there are others thrown in there), honestly anything. Alternative, techno, swing, big band...any genre out there. Except, perhaps, polka. With the exception of Wierd Al's music, I cannot stand polka.
The list of bands is too long, and I do not wish the dreaded carpal tunnel upon my poor distended fingers. Suffice it to say my taste in music is varied. | | Books | Books recently read:

There are quite a few more, but I'm only going to post four at any given time...if it's up here, I like it. Simple enough. | | Heroes | Here, at least, is one section in which I will not be cryptic or confusing. If you look to your right and perhaps up or down a bit, you'll see a picture of an astonishingly beautiful girl named Barbara. In fact, that is the name that should be above her picture. Convenient?
I love her. With all my heart, and all my soul, all of my mind and all that is within me, I love her. So I will scream it to the clouds and shout it to the earth, sing it for the stars to hear...!
She is my hero, and she always will be. |

About me:
Of all the things I could tell you, of that misty cloud of quirks and queries, I find it hard to pick the thing that would intrigue you most.
I could tell you that I'm sarcastic and cynical, armed with a good sense of humor, and that I often find myself unintentionally offending a great many people.
I could tell you that when I get into a debate I will carry it through to the ends of the earth, and that arguing, to me, is a bit of a pasttime.
I could tell you that I'm a musician, though not a very good one, and what I have managed to record, what jumbled chords and misfit note progressions I've managed to create I am very proud of.
I could tell you that I'm a writer, and that I sometimes will think about so many things at the same time that I'll confuse reality with unreality. This also makes me very forgetful. I have, on one humorous occasion, earnestly forgotten my name. This story makes for a great conversation-starter.
So you see my dilemna, in picking this one thing out of a sea of ideas that will summarize for you the whole of who I am. Because in fact I am all of these things. I am not a simple drop of water, but the ocean in itself.
So feel free to come inside, test the waters. Whether going for a gentle swim or determined to tame every ripple, I'll welcome you at least for now.
I'm always in the mood for a good conversation.
