This Quiet Earth was born in the 20th century as Nepomuk, and occasionally as Hindenburg. . Their parents include Rastapopoulos and House of Usher.
Members came from different places and different ages to seek out new ways of doing that good old rock'n'roll. They went to sea at an early age. They have been active, more or less, ever since.
During the years, This Quiet Earth have had their ups and downs, but have always managed to come up breathing. They have been nearly extinct on some occasions, but there has always been someone to keep the music flowing, allowing them to rise from the ashes like some kind of burning bird or something.
Some much-appreciated gigs have been performed in the Gothenburg area. Two "albums" have been recorded, using a MD-recorder and a mic supported by a roll of toilet paper. Also available: Countless Hours of Strange Jams and Rythmical Mishaps Caught on Tape.

During 2008 we will release one more calender piece, not included on the album, for each month for listening and downloading. Be sure to check in regularly.
