Biography: This Rigid Empire is an edgy punk explosion from the town of Orillia, Ontario. Originally formed in 2005 under the name "Hippypunks", This Rigid Empire has undergone many member changes and of course an epic name change. The TRE you know today was established in 2008. Ben Taylor leads the vocals of the group and rips massive balls on the guitar. Patrick Attenborough is the second vocalist and rocks the shizz on bass. Reid Goobie melts faces with his wicked shredding and beat boxing skills. Jordan Nieuwhof busts heads on the drums.
Each of the guys has been playing their instruments for different amounts of time but all share one passion, creating music. Each member of the band puts an equal effort into each song they produce. Most of their songs have gone through a slow writing process but have quickly evolved into what they are today. This Rigid Empire is every day expanding their music. They hope to one day become a household name and be on many ipods and mix cds. Thank you for checking us out!
We used to be called "Mumrik" that was looking for a singer and now we finally found a singer and the band name became STM since we are working together at a distance of 6000miles from Leeds, UK to Kyoto, Japan. And we uploaded 3 songs now. Check them and let me know what you think. Thanks.
