there was once a story told about a girl who could never face the world. she hid behind black curtains and burgundy masks. the plasma and glass told of a girl too in love with obscurity and when she left them, they wept in fear and confusion. for she was their princess, their love.

now the masked girl lives in pages and ink. she is not afraid of words, but still fears the cold and dark of people. this princess of mystique falls deeper into a world of nothing with every day, but now her friends scratch and bite. she longs for the smooth comfort of her old life, but is now too in love with fear.
