Drums: Wedge -
Previous Band History: Rectify, Four Letter Word, Cowboy Killers, Classified Protest and stood in for Resist (US) many years ago. Pretty much the same as Pig in the early stages. Two stints with FLW resulting in 3 releases, UK and East Coast (US) tours, and departed them in Feb 08'. Was then pestered by Pig to join TSK and finally gave in......................................................................................................................................................................................................

These youngsters were the new breed of punks to come from the 96 98 outbreak of new bands, influenced by the likes of Rancid, Sick Of It All, Bouncing Souls, Swinging Utters and so on. The line up included Neil (Bass), Rhys (Guitar), Holly (Bass), Will (Drums) (Also played for This System Kills), Ed (Vocals) and Craigy Bow (Guitar).
They called it a day in 2000 but played a host of gigs with bands such as Zemeluce (Czech), Inner Terrestrials, Smiling With Semtex, In The Shit and Rectify.

These hardcore punk locals had been around since 85 86 and throughout the bands history did releases for Words Of Warning, Profane Existence, Blown To Bits, Blackfish, Suspect Device, Inflammable Material , Squat Or Rot, Pop Noise as well as self released CDRs and various demos on Taffcore which hosted their first 7 20th Century EP.
Various members came and went Pig, Wedge and Mudgey being the only members left over from the original start of Classified Protest back in the early 80s.
After 5 tours of Europe starting with Chaos UK in 1991 they carried on sharing tours with the likes of Korrupt, Contempt and Kuru throughout the 90s. The final line up of Wedge (Drums), Kev (Bass), Web (Guitar) and Pig (Vocals) came to an end in 2000. Kev and Web went on to form Sick Cell (metalcore) and Wedge went to drum for Four Letter Word (Cardiff punks).
Pig worked on projects with In The Shit and 100,000 Body Bags forming the side project I Oppose Thee. (Pig: Vocals, Paul McCarte (ex Mind Pollution): Bass, Paul Payne (In The Shit): Guitar, Simon: Drums, and last but not least Emily: Violin)

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

Following the storming first night of New Heavy Sounds in September (with the marvellous BO-NINGEN headlining), we're super excited about the next NHS night, with zombie-baiting wonders CHICKENHAWK supported by the brilliant heavy garage of BAD FOR LAZARUS, the tight'n'heavy FRAFF and Cardiff's great STRANGE NEWS FROM ANOTHER STAR.
