TWILIGHT FOLK PRESENTS….. LES DERNIERS TROUVERES Bank Holiday Monday (4th May)
We sing songs of the middle age in contemporary French language with authentic medieval melodies or melodies composed in the medieval idiom in order to deliver the listener the richness, strength and a vivid simplicity of the time.Audiences will discover with joy medieval thought and imagery. The majority of our songs are written by two lyricists, Florian Lacour and Roland Deniaud. We also interpret many songs of Europe in their original language.
With support from PRINCES IN THE TOWER - a three piece Medieval and Renaissance costumed entertainment group ideal for banquets, dances and outdoor events. We own a vast collection of authentic instruments which are loud enough not to require amplification….. We have a large repertoire of toe tapping tunes and put our heart and soul into every performance. …...All three Princes are also members of the Medieval rock band CIRCULUS.
