Weeell, since january, i've been residing in Long Beach. it's a good setup for the right price- AND if you'll arrive early enough, I'm playing with a band called Paulie Pesh & The Vitals, in Downey on the 23rd, which is not far from Long Beach. If you can't make it out then just give me a call when you think of it and we'll work something out!
To be honest with you, I had to look up what "doppelganger" meant. but apparently you're not the only who knows someone that looks like me. Port played a show last night with Tristan Prettyman, this singer/songwriter whose totally hot, and after her performance she approached me with open arms and a wide-eyed smile! I should have gone for it, but I knew once she figured out I wasn't who she thought I was, I'd be that much creepier to her- so I broke the bad news to her right away, and suddenly I was a big mean grizzly bear and she became a little bunny... so I BIT HER FACE! Anyway, I've been well, and I'd love for you to not flake on me sometime so I can alleviate your curiousity as to what Mike's been up to lately= ) Not sure when you're leaving for Spain, but Port's gonna be in SF the last weekend of June, which could be a good time to do it, otherwise let me know when you're in town...
im not sure what people back here think. i'm not involved at sacred heart enough to know and saint joe's doesn't have all that.
as for me, i think she's a typical republican...i don't capitalize the "r". i can't see how being governor of alaska qualifies you to be president in the event of mccain croaking, which is entirely plausible given his age. maybe a larger state like texas, California, New York, Florida etc. who have economies larger than most countries in the world. republicans love her though because she gave life to an enthusiastic ticket. Obama chose Biden who is the best mind out there in regard to foreign relations which is the biggest issue. mccain chose somebody who was going to get him media coverage and make him more popular by association. Obama chose the person who is going to be best for the country whereas McCain chose the person who is going to get up his ratings. You tell me who you want running your country?
we are playing tomorrow (sat) night in San Luis Obispo. I know it's not your city but I'm driving 3 hours to get there if it would make you feel any better. The venue is the frog and peach. it's a small place, but it's gonna be a lot of fun--
