About me:

I am a PhD student in Religious Studies at University of Calgary. I DJ at Chimera, a gothic/industrial club night at Soda in Calgary, on the last Thursday of each month.

Note: As of Nov 1/08, I have deleted all non-band friends who haven't logged in for more than a couple months, as I assume you don't care about myspace anymore, and fair enough.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone interested in goth/industrial music in general and the scene in Calgary in particular. Especially if you also have some education in or interest in religious studies, philosophy and/or the occult.

In other words, you are most likely to be 'friended' by me if:
1) I know you in real life
2) You are a band whose music I like
3) You look as though you would probably like the same music I do, or have other shared interests - this especially applies if you live in Calgary and/or are hot
4) I find out about a new band via your myspace and I discover that I like them

If none of that applies to you, it's unlikely that I'll add you to my friends list - don't take it personally, I'm just warning you so that you don't waste your time asking.

    What i meant as in toned down was supposedly in Calgary, Manson burned a root or a piece of wood in his hand. Edmonton, a bible. He wore an american flag in hate anthem, Edmonton a Canadian Flag. Plus the Edmonton show had 2 more songs in the set. The GA was a sure thing too. Nothing like Anti-christ days by any stretch. I believe the city of Calgary had Manson well under their thumb to hold the show at the Jubilee. Plus, did you see any cops there at all? We didn't.. Edmonton was thick with them. I think it goes without saying that he is bending over for the world now. Now- Washed up anti-star. Don't get me wrong. Manson's awesome but age is catching up on him. I also read that this is probably his last album because he is sick of the music industry and moving onto film like Rob Zombie anyways.
