Influences
The members of Thomas are each influenced individually by different types of music and they bring their own sounds to the table to create a unique style of music. The sound and style that Thomas plays can be related to the popular bands; Switchfoot, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sanctus Real, Dave Matthews Band, The Killers, U2, Yellowcard, Anberlin, Oar, and coldplay. But if listened to closely one can hear each member using their own style to create the sound of Thomas.
More than three years ago, long time friends Ryan Kelley (guitar/vocals) and Jared Hoffman (drums) met Jesse Cunningham (bass) at their church and started playing music on the worship team. they soon became tight and created a band. The three piece wrote most of the songs still played today. After many failed band names, the name "Thomas" finally stuck. Sometimes fans refer to the band as "Thomas (the band)". Thomas felt they were missing something and were limited as a 3piece. So in 2008, after meeting the newest member Will Gurshaw (keys), they asked him to join. Now a complete band, Thomas is prestiging to the next level. Writing new songs using their different music talents to be diverse and innovative. They are marketing to play in bigger venues. And are coming to the final stages in completing the first EP titled "not alone."

Yea We'll were getting shows randomly so ill put your name out there and i think they need to hear like one song and they'll be like "YES!" lol, If you want to play with us sometime in May, that's when im booking for our band...
