Fanatique de la musique et des percussions depuis son jeune âge, c’est à treize ans que Thomas Brodeur entreprend ses premiers cours de batterie, avec Maurice Métayer. Il poursuit ses cours jusqu’à son entrée au programme de musique du cégep Marie-Victorin où il gradue en 2003 (musique Jazz, interprétation, batterie). Il obtient son baccalauréat de l’université du Québec à Montréal en musique (Musique populaire, Interprétation, Instrument principal: batterie) à la fin de 2007. Grand mélomane, Thomas admire les rythmes de tous genres, autant funk, rock que jazz et autres. Sa formation académique lui a d’ailleurs permis d’explorer un très grand nombre d’avenues musicales, ce qui fait de lui un musicien très polyvalent. Il travaille maintenant à son compte, à titre de musicien professionnel où il est appelé à collaborer sur de multiples projets, que ce soit sur scène ou en studio. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
A music and percussion fan at a very young age, Thomas Brodeur started taking drum lessons at thirteen with Maurice Métayer and carried on until his enrollment in the music program at Marie-Victorin College, where he graduated in 2003 (Jazz music, interpretation, drums). He obtained his university degree at UQAM in 2007 (pop. music, interpretation, Drums). Thomas admires a wide variety of bands and musicians, from every horizon, time period and style. Thomas’ seriousness and determination bring musical cohesion to a group. His diversified training (Jazz, Rock, Pop, Latin) brings a broad musical palette to every band he plays with.
