About me:
I like to read. I like doing research. I like organizing information. I like watching old movies. I enjoy music of all kinds - especially older music. I am a writer, and sometime free-lance journalist. I collect books. I am a nerd, and I revel in it.

I am also the director of the Louise Brooks Society. I am highly interested (read "consumed") with the silent film star Louise Brooks. (See www.pandorasbox.com for a manifestation of my interest/obsession, as well as my own Louise Brooks-themed radio station, RadioLulu, and Louise Brooks-themed blog.) I am also the author of a forthcoming book on the actress.

people always tell me that. I first heard about Louise Brooks when I was at an antique store and I was talking to the old man who ran the store about silent movies. He asked me if I had ever heard of Louise, I said I hadn't and he told me that I look just like her.
