If you didn't get the call then a) the whole thing is rigged, b) your mp3 got accidentally deleted by Bucky the "differently-abled" intern, c) the judges are headless or d) there is no God and all is but chaos and entropy.
Hey, by the way, I was in a club last weekend listening to whatever ooncha-ooncha techno-y house-y trance-y dance music the kids are playing these days. Anyway, I started absent-mindedly singing "So Much For Gravity" over the electronic beat. It sounded friggin' AWESOME!!!!! If you don't do a dance remix of this song, I will delete you from my Friend List. You don't want that to happen, do you?
And thank YOU for the kind mention of my song. I'm in Iowa, so I wouldn't be eligible to win the contest even if my song were good enough.
But at least now I have someone to root for! When you and your songwriting partner get back from Finale Week in Hollywood, you'll have to tell me all about it. ;-)
