Not much anymore. Still Billy Joel, B.B. King and seventies music. What the hell else is there? J. Geils Band's "Stoop Down" is my ring music. Oh yeah, Lyle Lovett and Delbert McClinton can really get my bluesy-side movin', that's for sure. If it has a harmonica, piano and sax, I'm in. Chicks with violins are also interesting.

Monster movies, clever comedies and Bubba Ho Tep (which is just about all of those). When "The Burbs" comes on, I throw away the remote for just a little while. Will still give practically anything Bruce Willis, Tom Hanks or Harrison Ford are in a chance. My favorite female actress is always changing, so the "hot chick" alert is always in flux. My son and I just re-watched all six Star Wars movies. I'm appalled that they will re-make most movies, including Will Smith's son as the Karate Kid and the Jackie Chan-voiced Hong Kong Phooey. What, has no one EVER watched the late great Scatman Carother's version?

About me: Grew up in and around Portage, Pennsylvania. Graduated from there in 1985.
I earned my degree in Communication Studies from California University of Pennsylvania in 1990. Before that, and at a very young age, I worked in radio. I continued to study and train in that field in college. Upon graduation, I temporarily got sick of radio and worked in a variety of gigs until I landed a job writing for The Patriot, Community News South and other papers in Pittsburgh.
I sell real estate and write professionally. My "day job" consists of me helping people from a fancy desk. Also, every so often when the schedule dictates, I serve as Ring Announcer for the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance at the home of professional wrestling in Pittsburgh, the Lawrenceville Moose! We are simply the most fan-and-kid friendly and creative indy in Pittsburgh. That's not opinion...it's fact.
I live and work in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (I'm now one of the jerks who live in the suburbs, yet claim to be from The Burgh). I am working on writing and editing three different books...with a fourth being a distinct possibility. I have the attention span of a hamster on crack.

I am not annoying at all. In fact most people come to me for advice. Of course they annoy the hell out of me. But what can I do? I am smarter than most people.
Who I'd like to meet: Go ahead, if you've gone this far and read this sentence, go ahead and ask to be my Myspace pal. I mostly just turn down "phantom friends" who really don't exist, or young kids under 18 who drop "F-bombs" all over their pages, or talk only about sex. While I'm certainly no prude, 12-year-olds who talk about certain "acts" don't need to be mixing with my professional wrestling folks, political and sports pals, the ocassional family member and the a couple of adult entertainers. I'm slightly past 40...I pick and chose who I want!
I enjoy meeting new folks, from bums on the street to the elite of the elite. I've had very brief meetings with lots of celebs, from Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer to former governor Tom Ridge and the current President of the United States, George W. Bush.
I enjoy talking with folks who "do their own thing." I am particularly impressed with talented musicians...cause I have no idea what the hell you're doin' with that instrument, even my own piano.
