Thom Mathews is a highly potent artist of "Shred". With influences ranging from Extreme Metal to Classical and Fusion, Thom has earned the respect of both critics and peers alike. Thom began his journey with technical extreme metal masters "Quinta Essentia". Thom's playing on their debut "Nuetrality For Defined Chaos" made believers out of many in the underground metal scene. His over the top sweep picking and tapping skills dropped jaws at every venue they played. Soon after, Thom released his debut solo album "Mindcraft" to both fan and critical acclaim. Currently, he is finishing up his second solo album "Entrancing the Populace". Thom's playing has been compared to Marty Friedman, Mathew Mills, and James Murphy.
