WE ARE GRATEFUL TO SONY/BMG FOR ALL THE PREVIOUS THOMPSON TWINS COMPILATION, BUT NONE OF THEM ACTUALLY CONTAINED RARE TRACKS, B-SIDES ETC, NOR IS THERE AN OFFICIAL DVD RELEASE
THE NEAREST FANS GOT TO A RARITIES COLLECTION WAS THE UK "GREATEST HITS" COMPILATION WHICH CONTAINED THE UK 7" VERSION OF "ROLL OVER" WHICH WAS THE SINGLE THAT NEVER GOT RELEASED FROM 1985 AND ALSO A DEMO VERSION OF "SISTER OF MERCY", BOTH TRACKS WERE FROM SONY/BMG'S ARCHIVES, THERE MUST BE MORE AROUND!
TOM BAILEY SAID HE WOULD LIKE TO BE INVOLVED WITH THIS TOO. SO PLEASE SONY/BMG AND WARNER MUSIC, LET'S GET THIS OFF THE GROUND. THIS SITE PROVES THAT THERE IS A MARKET FOR THIS, A RARITIES COLLECTION AND AN OFFICIAL DVD RELEASE. THE THOMPSON TWINS HAVE A BIG FOLLOWING AND A RARITIES COLLECTION IS SUCH A GREAT IDEA. THE FANS WILL ASSIST TOO IN CREATING THIS.... THERE IS A LOT OF RARE MATERIAL AROUND!
UPDATE - END MARCH 2008 - 2 UK CD RELEASES HAVE BEEN PUT OUT, BOTH DOUBLE CD'S CONTAINING B-SIDES & REMIXES... BUT THEY HAVE BEEN MET WITH MIXED REACTIONS. SOME SAY THE QUALITY ISN'T THAT GOOD, SOME SAY THE HERE'S TO FUTURE DAYS CD (IF IT HAPPENS) WILL BE A LET DOWN

Damn! I just saw the tracklisting with song lenghts for the Side Kicks reissue. "Love On Your Side" is listed at 3:33 which means we still are not getting the original album version! Why can't any label get this right?

Hey, I would like to see a DVD Release of Here's To Future Days Live, Geoff have you ever asked Tom if this was ever filmed, seems strange that they had footage for the Revolution video, and they were still huge in America, Japan and Australia at the time. Steve

Great to see the petition getting a lot of recognition that is totally deserving. Loving the fact that Tom Bailey and Thomas Dolby have come on-board.
