Thor Kolbinson has been performing music live for almost 40 years beginning with the Regina Youth symphony as a violist at age 13. He went on to play drums in several bands until taking up guitar in 1978 which has remained his main instrument since although he can be heard on many recordings playing piano, bass and drums. Thor toured much of western Canada playing in hard rock bands and then disappeared from the business to raise two kids who are now adult musicians. These days Thor is working as a studio musician for Murky Water Records as well as writing and recording songs for his next cd due out summer '10.

Thank you for the information on the trouser presser. I already have one like that. I found it at a garage sale for a retired Chinese owner of a laundromat. When I bought it, they said "sank you, sank you veddy much".
Yes we did play the Amatis. We went to the U.of S. several times a year and did concerts on them all over. We told lots of people about your grandpa and the history of the instruments. What an honer!
