~A Stout man with feral eyes and long black over coat. His wild long hair is only kept neat by a old black ribbon making a furry pony tail. His beard is long as wild as his hair. As he shuffles about, dust rises from his clothes like a light fog and a clanking noise that some may know as the dreaded lightning rod follows rhythmically with his every step. The very portrait of a gruff leader of lawless men and women. He has a wild nature that reminds one of a time when the line between man and beast was very thin. Yet, he hides it in a veneer of self control and impassioned intellect. The Hinderscipe, is a special dirigible called a StormReaver. A ship built to utilize the fury of electrical storms to power its turbines and weapons. His loyal crew are all scientists and inventors as well as completely insane. The captain is building a niche for himself and his loyal crew in the Steam Enthusiasts community as promoters, prop makers and costume designers. Since the impromptu panel at dragoncon 2008, They have been asked talk about there thoughts on steampunk and how to get started in it. Recently they started working with a band called, The Extraordinary Contraptions. Thorngauge (aka Ace Talkingwolf) is no stranger to fandom and gaming conventions. A photographer by trade, he also works as a voice actor and at Netherworld Haunted House as a special effects artist. He is one of the founding members of the 9COP production team as well. About me:
I am Captain Dreorig Thorngauge of the Hinderscipe. Once a professor of theoretical electrothergy and meta-magnetic application in Ashford, London. My life changed the terrible day I used Aetherium to power one of my larger electrical experiments. When my daughter, Deirdre with my wife Shayla entered, with my noon tea. The element reacted with the sterling silver in the tray and opened a hole to another dimension. My girls screamed as they were pulled in. I reached for them vainly.....but they were gone trapped there forever. Maybe it is my exposure to the aetherium energy or maybe the radiation of the rift but I am no longer able to see my reflection in mirrors only their faces....reaching, screaming my name. I keep no mirrors in my quarters anymore, but if I pass one, I find it hard to resist talking to the ladies I lost. This is why I despise the use of devices that utilize aetherium elements. I call them "witchscience". The crew say I am mad and better for it. I am obsessed with the desire to rescue my loved ones from their prison. My crew and I have gone on account to pay for this venture. Our dread ship, the Hinderscipe, is a specially designed "Storm Reaver" able to not only survive a storm, but harvest the charge of lightning from it to fuel it's huge capacitors. This power propels us at great speed in storms and when aimed at a prize vessel, can send a charge that stuns most crews and disable most electronic devices. I dare say, the Hinderscipe's massive "mess Sails" create quite the sensation as they make a shadow below like some great black bird. A dark omen for the hapless crews of our targeted ships.

Who I'd like to meet:
"Is this live action roleplaying, drama club, or some sort of dinner theater?" Though I don't need an excuse to dress as I wish, I will gladly explain a bit to you my new friend. Steampunk is a subgroup of sci-fi, horror, and fantasy. While most of steampunk is written in Victorian/Edwardian era, it can include Western and even post apocalyptic. These are members of local Atlanta group of enthusiasts that gather at Steampunk aesthetic venues. We like the fashion and the anti-industrial idea of Steampunk. Most times I tell people when they ask...."It is out patient day." My group "the Hinderscipe" builds steampunk props for bands and spl events.

Ace Talkingwolf is a special effects MUA trauma specialist, puppeteer, drinker, actor, and professional freelance model photographer. Strife Stewart is a guitarist, smoker, digital image enhancer, and freelance tattoo art designer/tattooist.
