Thorpe Productions is a Philly based Music Company specializing in Band Management, Club Bookings, Music Conferences/Seminars, Band Marketing and Development. Our partners are Mirror Image Duplication, Otherside of the Mirror, Origivation, Dewey Beach Music Conference and The Functioning Band Series. Thorpe Productions is headed by Jim Thorpe who has been in the music industry since the mid 80's to present. Some of Jim's past accomplishments have been 10 years with the Grape Street Pub, A short successful run at the Chestnut Room, 5+ years in working with the Dewey Beach Music Conference as the Industry Panel Coordinator and currently Books all the original music at Brownies 23.E. Jim has managed these bands from the past The Jury, Catching Flies, Bhang, GIZLOB, DownCircleBack, Carfax Abbey, The Blue Method, Scorched Earth, Diety and various others. Currently Thorpe Productions represents Noosphere, Dj Sat-One, The Scratch Makaniks and has placed musicians in signed band most notable Jen Z. of Antigone Rising. Jim has been involved with over 30 cd releases from Local to International. Some notable CD's are the The Grape Street Pub compilation CD's Volume 1 & 2, Carfax Abbey's Second Skin, Dj Sat-One - Aftermidnight, DCB-s/t, Hoosphere's Always and Necerand countless others.
