This is a music page of my personal musical footprints.
I am a Veteran of the Extreme Metal, Grindcore, Experimental music scene. My style ranges from the extremely brutal and avant garde to experimental hardcore crust punk, stoner, psychedelic blues based doom and beyond.
Over the years I have worked with many different musicians in a wide range of bands primarily as a drummer and primary songwriter, as well as a rhythm guitarist.
With over 35 years professional recording & touring experience, I have had the pleasure of playing with the best of the best, and sharing the stage with legends.
From the likes of Spazz, Sepultura, D.R.I., Brutal Truth, Soilent Green, Nile, Incantation, Death, Suffocation, S.O.D. Misfits, B52's, Scott Weinrich, Cramps, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Slayer, Cephalic Carnage, Flipper, GWAR, Napalm Death, Opeth, Mojo Nixon, Justin Broderick, Cathedral, Bolt Thrower, Carcass, Assuck, Motorhead, Imprecation, Puncture, Dead Horse, Rigor Mortis, Death Angel, Absu, Hank III, Eyehategod, Acid Bath and many more, I can truly say I have had a charmed existence as a performing musician by simply being able to share a venue with those I admire.
But none are more important than those with whom I've created and performed with from the beginning to the present.
In the future I hope to add songs that encompass most bands I have been in, and eventually post nothing but new, current material.
I am currently involved in a project called SERPENT ASSASSIN with longtime brothers & mates, Steve K. & Joe D.
Anything I do outside of this is toward my own evolving work, THOU ART THAT.

Current Tracks
• The first two tracks are miscellaneous 7 inch releases.
• SITH was an odd stripped down side-project of Q'ON'OS. The band is Raylene Sanchez, Chris, Grey Harris, Tommy Steiner & myself.
• Four SOCIAL PARASITE songs: The first SP track is actually two songs, Corporate Whore & Visage of Pain, and the second is Strange Byrd followed by Round Room, all recorded for the EP, Psychedelic Pharmacy.
• This band was co-founded by the inimitable Joe D, the guitar wizard of my current band SERPENT ASSASSIN. Our bassist was the often unpredictable Chuck Branson, who also shared vocals.
• The last track is from a bootlegged Destructive Criticism show. That band at times included either Joe or Steve on guitar. This recording has Steve. Chuck is the vocalist.
• The old player below has an identical playlist, except it is not updated when songs are added or subtracted to the new player. The last song on it is not included on the new player. It is a rehearsal of 3 Social Parasite songs: Laughing at You, Psychedelic Pharmacy & Round Room. Recorded during rehearsal on a boom box. The quality is what you would expect it to be~

My path as a musician began at age 4 when I witnessed a drummer by the name of Matt Martin play in a jazz band. From that point on, I knew a drummer is what I Am, so I began playing at the age of 4. As KISS dominated those times, that had a huge influence on me & predispositioned me toward crazy, heavy music. As a drummer, I leaned heavily toward Bill Ward, Neil Peart, Mitch Mitchell, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Peter Criss, Eric Carr, Phil Rudd, Clive Burr, Nicko McBrain, Terry Bozio, Buddy Rich, Louis Belson, Gene Krupa, Dave Holland, Simon Phillips & other legends.
As a musician, one is inclined to want to push their ability beyond their perceived limits. For a drummer, there is no finer way to do that than through the art form of Metal.
There is no other form of music on the planet that will push the physical ability of your capability to play your instrument to it's fullest potential than Metal. Jazz is fundamental, but it cannot touch the demands and ultimate prowess of Metal.
There is nothing more cutting edge and fruitful with raw brilliance, talent, experiments and pure time manipulation than Metal.
I love all music, but before I was a teenager, I was a dyed in the wool full-on Metalhead, and ultimately, that lead to Grindcore as well as Doom and any other experimental form of extreme performance.
From a drummer's point of view, I draw a lot of my style from drum & bugle corps and primitive indigenous styles of percussion & prefer to play my blast beat with a single foot, punctuating with the snare & cymbal work while i do fills with the left foot, hand combination.
Guitar-wise, I tend to be very percussive & I like to carry the work of hypnotism over to the axe. I do not believe the almighty riff is the sole determiner of any song, and when writing, I prefer to let the rhythm be so thick as to not allow for any lead-guitar wanking. The tunings I use are a combination from Sonic Youth & Robert Johnson. 440 is over-rated & limiting, and I feel it's time is over, just as the 2/4 - 4/4 beat structure most be DESTROYED.
I take a lot of my guitar inspiration from Paul Leary, Lee Ranaldo, Kat Bjelland, King Buzzo & Justin Broderick. Feedback, dissonance and noise is just as crucial to a complete sound as any one chord, perhaps more. These 5 people alone draw heavily from the experimentation of Hendrix and have done more to bring heavy music to it's knees by finding out just what the library of sounds are that the guitar is capable of. One can hear their influence all over the map, outside of the genre's the public lumps them into. In order to keep Extreme Metal extreme, to keep the grind and the core relevant, one must borrow and derive inspiration OUTSIDE of what is considered heavy.
As a drummer, guitarist and songwriter, that is what I bring to the table.
