Born in upstate NY, educated in the midwest and currently nesting in San Francisco, Ca. Perform on bass and electronics, ping-ponging one off of the other, feeding back and feeding forward. Also perform on laptop, playing overlapping walls of noisewash sourced from field recordings, small sounds and societal hum. Write music that's dense and haunting, loud and quietabstract.
Member of a couple bands across the country. In Oakland, I play in the Pink Canoes, a 4tet w/ Noah Phillips, Zachary Watkins and Aram Shelton. Also a member of Satellite, a 3tet w/ Steini Gunnarsson and Liz Meredith. In Ann Arbor, I'm a member of a audiovideo improv collective called The Night. Membership varies, but usually such people as Ami K. Dang, John Hensel and Greg McMahon are usually involved. Once upon a time, I was also a member of a NYC based electro band called Fighter Pilot. Most recently, I've also found myself involved w/ twother projects - namely, playing electronics in Moe! Staiano's Moe!kestra! aswellas vslykon (timetravel/celestial protosongs) w. a.kataoka. May or may not ocassionally play under the name of vsls when anonymity is dee-sired...

Greetings Do excuse the 'spam', but I have three new songs up on the page, each from a different upcoming album.
One from the sleepers / hellmouth split, which will be out in the next few weeks on cassette from Marygarden Tapes.
One from the first full length Sleepers album (along with the other two 'untitled' songs), also coming out on Marygarden, but on CD.
One from the collaboration album between Sleepers and Jason "EVIL" Covelli, with all words and voice by Jason, and all sounds and editing from myself.
I have been working endlessly on new material for Sleepers, and I am very excited for the progression of this project. I believe it may have even taken over Bicycle Sighs' place as my 'main' project. A lot of the albums listed on the page are still seeking homes, but I do believe I will be able to maintain a solid and consistent output, as Sleepers has unlocked something deep inside of my mind.
I am, as always, still seeking out new collaborators, in aural, literary, and visual additions.
