I am a corporate slave by day - if it wasnt for my kids needing to eat, I'd much prefer working at a record store or something, but such is life. When Im not working and not doing something related to my band, Im usually involved in something that has to do with the local punk and/or metal scene here in Phoenix - whether its going to support other bands or just doing my share of drinking....
Let's see...I have my band, my boyfriend (he's kind of a big deal..haha), the kids (I have two, he has one, they all rule), my friends (they rule too) – plenty to keep me busy and happy - Life is good.
Not to be a downer, but you'd be amazed at some of the messages I get on here - so here it is - I’m not 14, and chances are, if you’re trying to be sly, cool, a tough guy or anything you’re not, I’ve already heard it or seen it…. So if you’re considering sending me a message and it simply includes “whats up”, with no explanation of any kind - please don’t waste your time or mine. There is inevitably nothing “up”, and even less likely that something is “up” that warrants being shared with a random stranger asking for directional details. And no, I don't want to "kick it", especially if we've never met in real life. I don't want to see what you're working "wit", or get at you, with you or anything else....I think you get my point - Otherwise, I’m a very friendly person – life is just too short to waste with idiots and players. One more thing - I'm all about supporting unsigned bands, but I'm not going to approve comments with pics bigger than everything else on my page![Insert bright and smiling face here, surrounded by puppies and rainbows] Did I mention I tend to be rather direct?
You can hear me laugh across a room – its loud and honestly, gets on my nerves, but what can you do..I have a great time...
But I digress....
