About me: Threads of Destiny (
Homepage) is a fan-madefeature filmbased in
the Star Wars Universe. After a well developed script
was conceived through various drafts by four different
writers, filming began in 2005. The director, actors,
and the rest of the shooting team all live in Sweden,
so the whole film was filmed in Stockholm-- but all in
English dialogue.
Right now people all around the world are still
working on getting all the CGI done, and we expect it
to be out the 30th of May 2009. In the meantime, we
will post teasers, trailers, pictures, and videos from
the production of the film on the web.

Why is George Lucas letting you do this? / Does he know?
George Lucas has given his word that all people who wish to make fictitious work out of Star Wars are free to do so, may it be film or text, as long as there is no economical profit that is being gained from it.
And no we have no idea if the man himself knows anything about it, but we do know that he does hand out his own "George Lucas Selects" award at Atomfilm.com's annual Star Wars fan film awards(the only place where you're allowed to earn money on Star Wars fan films).
Is it a feature and if so when will it come to our cinema?
Yes, the film is already exceeding 90 minutes in length so it is indeed a feature were making.
And we do not expect it to be shown at regular theatres in America, but we do hope to be able to show it at film festivals around the world as well as in the U.S.A. But that all depends on what Lucas Arts Film allows us to do. But we do know that there have been Star Wars fan films that have been shown at film festivals previously.
Can I be a part of this movie in any way?
Take a look at "were recruiting" further down on this page, if you're skilled in any of those areas then the answer is yes, otherwise we're afraid it is a no. We already have a talented music composer for the film, and we already have shot almost all of the scenes for the film. For actors or extras, remember that the filming all takes place in Sweden; but if that is not a problem, you may send a mail of interest since we are doing some re-shoots.

Recently, I added a new song to my music player called, "Always" which might be one of the best songs I've written so far. Tthe chorus was scored for an entire violin section, however, in studio, I had one violinist, Jan "Yes I Can" Sullins. I asked her to single handedly create the sound of a "Hollywood style" string section. This is almost like telling someone, "Please jump rope one handed 10 times while monkeys nip at your feet."
Lucky for me, Jan worked some magic and now you can hear it on track 1 in my music player. It's called "Always" and is from my upcoming album, "Awakening," to be released June 16th.
