With an abstract flow, reminiscent of Miles Davis after a long night on cocktails, playing over Red Holt, in the Mos Eisley Bar. The unique programming and blending of the live instrumentation (drums, bass, guitar and sax.) mixes many different styles and moods together.The result is a hybrid of electro/ lounge/ ambient/ drumn'bass/ fusion and jazz (now thats a lot of genres all in one). Their music helps paint a picture of spectacular sunsets in the bands' native sunny Mexico. In fact, the music is almost like a visual kaleidoscope that takes the audience through a fusion of sounds and sights.
In this brand new S.F.P. Ep , it shows the evolution of the band with new sound and direction since the first progressive / psychedelic album "Elektrik Psylocibe Experience", Lydian Skye Ep showcases into a alternative/ nujazz/psychedelic electronica.

Electro 7 are an interesting mixed bag of madness. A Mexican, Cuban and Italian combine to create the sounds of Cuba merged with Psychedelic Electronica, Reggae, Hip Hop and Drum & Bass and then twisted into pop music! Electro 7 have been around a few years but it wasn’t until band leader Dr Panic hooked up with long time friend and traditional Cuban musician, Raul Oviedo, that their sound started to take shape. They then bought in pop producer Paolo Marcellini and the band was complete. All three have been very busy session and touring musicians or had other band projects taking up their time but in the last year the focus has been on this exciting new band and they are quickly picking up a fan base in Mexico and major label interest throughout America. The idea behind the band is to create soulful, contemporary Cuban music while experimenting with electronic sounds. A fusion of different cultures in music that when blended would give something completely new and rewarding. The sound is still very authentic and at times is pure Cuban “Son” and it really hits the spot. But when Dr Panic adds his skills from his techno production experience, what we are left with is a very fresh sound that is an amazing mix of exotic latin rhythms and vocals from sun bleached, rum soaked Havana back streets with cool, contemporary, electronic, urban sounds from Mexico City’s burgeoning dance music culture. So light up a Cohiba, order a Mojito, put the cd on and turn it up. Electro 7 are the soundtrack for your summer. This is the Habana-delic Gozadera Expereience…. Their debut album will be completed in July and is set for release in September/October. It is released through Tip New World and territory partners are being sought.
