Since December 18th of 2003, VWFixx New York became an official Chapter with Tania (MissVeeDub) leading the way. Four years later, the Club has evolved tremendously. We've gone from a simple "hang-out" crew, to an organized enthusiast European Car Club. It was only natural that we would become a second family. After all, that's what this is all about. It might be safe to say that along with our growth, it was inevitable to eventually go our separate ways from VWFixx, and build our own individuality and "name". VWFixx and Justin Welty were nothing short of supportive all those years, and we truly owe them a lot. However, as of 01.01.08, the Club has officially been known no longer as The VWFixx New York Chapter, but THREE.8.WERKS, Ferdinand's Crew.
The original foundation back in 2003 was geared toward quality rather than quantity. That will forever stay true even with the name change. We maintain a conservative amount of members, typically between 12-15 and we like the family-like atmosphere within the Club. But our door is always open for those interested enough.
Every year we host eurothon, previously known as dubathon, with proceedes going to a Children's Organization. For 2008 we donated over $1000. We like giving back and becoming a positive influence in our community.
