About me: Music is not taste, it is not product, it is not fashion. Independent music started with the people, but now the devil has sprouted out from the details.
Three Chord Carnival is a collective of musicians and music lovers who have addressed the current crisis enveloping independent music and its snobbish influence on counter-culture. We present an alternative to the consumerist ideals of the indie upper class. We resist this culture aggressively. We believe in a culture of ideas, not a culture of critics.
If you would like to be a part of this movement, friend, you are welcome. Subscribe to our blog to find out how you can help spread the word or just send us a message. Together we can bring independent music back to the people!

I don't even know what independent music is anymore. Thanks, Three Chord Carnival, for trying to inject meaning back into it and change it from a fashionable product back into a mentality.
It's time to take the independent movement back. I agree with you guys. I'll be at the Pitchfork Protest Festival and I'll definitely subscribe to your blog. Let me know how else I can help.
i talk a lot about doing violence, but i would never actually follow through with it. i was just a little overly exuberant at the time. i believe i am doing my part though, in my own way, every day.
fuck yeah class warfare. fucking privelged kids and their good spellin' and teeth and new clothes and buyin' stuff to make them look like they're a part of something more than a confetti parade. can i, or should i kick peopel in the head?
