Some bands talk the talk, while others let their music do the talking as they work up a sweat playing the club circuit each and every weekend locally and regionally. There's no gimmicks, no flash-just a tight rock band that's all about having fun--that's Northeast Ohio-based Three Miles Out in a nutshell. This four-piece modern rock band has seen their fan base grow from an average of five per show to five hundred in just three years with a sound that is equal parts Fuel, Eve 6, and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Along the way TMO has released two independent CD's, TMO in October 2000 and That's Life in November 2001. As songs from both charted on regional radio stations and the band played gigs relentlessly, a solid fan base began to attach itself to these guys as it became evident they were not just your average garage band. And then the venues began to get larger. First there was the Hard Rock Café in Cleveland, where they were a finalist for the Rolling Rock "Battle of the Fans." They showcased at the EAT'M Conference in Las Vegas in June 2002 and this past Fall played to 70,000 people at Cleveland Browns stadium before a game. There was also a recent showcase for BMG Records in New York. But always remembering to give back to the community that supports them, this band has donated their time and talent for such charities as M.A.D.D., Great American Picnic, Breast Cancer and Suicide Prevention Awareness.

After seven long years, TMO returned to the studio to record their third independent CD, "Nobody" in 2008. The self titled track off the album hit the local radio stations hard, earning top ten spots. The album featured 13 tracks. Fans will recognize "Reaching Out" the title track from TMO's previous album, again on this album, but with a harder edge. The album is a masterful weave of emotional lyrics and musical genius, that's sure to make a fan out of everyone.

Through it all, TMO is just a group of good guys--guys who happen to write songs with fat guitars, catchy melodies, sweet harmonies and hooks the size of Ohio. They continue to play the club circuit in Northeast Ohio and regionally, not tinkering too much with the formula that has gotten them this far.
