Three Months to Live was founded when the inspirational minds of Kenny, Ben, and Nick met in Carroll Hall in 2005. At that very moment, they knew that they would be a monumental rock band that would forever change the face of the music industry. After adding local rock band The Wellbottoms' vocal talents of Mike into the band, they began their search for a lead guitarist. One day, when practicing in their rehearsal space, they heard a knock on the window. "Hey guys, I really like what I hear, I'd love to jam with you guys." We decided, 'sure, why not?', and invited lead guitarist Ross inside to jam. At that moment, the clouds parted and God himself shined his smiling face down on what was then on to be known as Three Months to Live.
After creating four major hit studio albums, Three Months to live went on tour with bands such as the Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin opening for them. They were featured as a special guest on Saturday Night Live and several late night talk shows, and played at several well known music festivals including Bonnaroo, Coachella, Live Aid, and Woodstock. After years of touring, the band members went seperate ways. Nick and Kenny formed a supergroup with Anthony Keidis, Billy Corgan, and Eddie Van Halen while Ben pursued his own successful solo career. Ross became a professor of music studies at Berklee college and trained the likes of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and Jimi Hendrix. Mike vanished for three years, and later would explain that he had an intense religious experience where he found his inner spiritual soul. He also succesfully taught monkeys how to talk and cured cancer.
In early 2007, the members of 3MTL decided to reform for one last world tour. After the huge success of that tour, they decided to write one more studio album, entitled "The Demo" which you can listen to above.
