Lead guitarist and courtesy of the guitar synth, some head-turning sounds including strings, banjo, brass, accordion, piano, steel drums, sitar and xylophone.
Drummer / percussionist, owner of the brightest bass drum in live music and a truly unique percussion set-up including bongos, tambourines, cowbells and all manner of things to hit.
On special occassions, Claire-tanian, the 4th Mustgetbeer has been known to make a guest appearance for a handful of classic acoustic numbers - with a voice that can silence a room (and in a very different way to Decca's) - this talented young lady needs to be heard to be believed.

Sounds Like
A good, fun night out with music and comedy you can't help but enjoy...
THE THREE MUSTGETBEERS are enjoying 2009 already. A great night at the Sand Dancer in South Shields started us off nicely and the King's Arms on 31 Jan looks like being a good one. Check out the vids from the Boxing Day Bash 2008 and rest assured, there'll be more to come soon.
The Three Mustgetbeers are a trio from the Newcastle Upon Tyne who play a selection of classic covers and one or two originals in a range of styles, with a unique combination of sounds and a clear emphasis on having as much fun as possible.
The 3MGBs was formed when the three guys got together for a one-off performance as a trio and not only put on a thoroughly memorable show, but also enjoyed themselves so much that the experience just had to be repeated.
There are plenty of bands and singers out there who take themselves too seriously but the 3MGBs aren't one of them. The idea here is to balance playing good music well, with having fun.
A typical 3MGBs gig will always include a generous helping of comedy, story-telling and one-liners, but the show's backbone is a well chosen and well delivered set-list designed to get people singing, get toes tapping and generally to encourage a 'party' atmosphere.
Check out the gig list, come see the band, sing along, laugh along (OK - groan along, but you get the idea).
Fancy a break from the usual stream of blues / rock bands and singers who think they're above everyone else? Come see the Three Mustgetbeers and have some fun (and drink some beer).
