Influences
..All music with power, emotion and substance. We're talking Janis Joplin, Michael Franti, Traditional African Drumming, and the sweet sounds of reggae music.
But our main influences are the people in our lives that helped to make us who we are today and if we started naming them all and we forgot someone, we may never hear the end of it............ we love you all and thank you for coming on this journey with us......
smile and the whole world will smile with you :)
Sounds Like
"If music were a colour it would be, Three Quarters Hazel"....
Got any other suggestions??? :)
Three Quarters Hazel (plus special guests) is all about making people feel good. With their upbeat funky vibes, that get you up and on the dancefloor and songs about soul, living, our beautiful earth and all the stuff in life that brings us wonder and inspiartion..TQH are making a difference to the Local Pubs, Bars, Festivals, Charity Events, Weddings, Divorces, Birthdays, Barmitzvah's...and more all over the place..
Cherie is lead vocal, guitar, djembe, keys to name afew..... and creates contageous smiling with her high energy performance and killer voice (she's known for her Janis Joplian slash Michael Franti influences). Josh who plays bass, djembe, percussion and vocals brings so much life to the stage, together with Cherie they work off eachother, takin songs to wherever its gonna go but are always so connected on stage. If you haven't seen this man rip it up on the bass and then switch back to djembe all in a funky solo, then you haven't seen everything........have you???
And Grant he is the man with the beats, and he surely never misses one....... Grant's smooth and precise drumming give "Three Quarters Hazel" that final dash of spice that make people rise to their feet and always asking for more..........
