During the past year we've received a lot of questions from a lot of people wondering if we would ever play a show together again. It was an unfortunate turn of events that involved the passing of one of our friends from high school that pulled the 4 of us together for a benefit show. We got together on 9/19, 10 days prior to our 1 year anniversary of the last 3SS show, to rehearse for the benefit on 9/20. Surpirsingly, the songs we knew together flowed better than ever and it felt like we never missed a day of playing.
Our good friend, Chachi from WNCI, attended the benefit and continued to persuade us to sign on for the WNCI 10,000 Maruniaks fall tour. We were actually asked to play the fall tour on 2007 but everyone had so much going on in their lives we couldn't make it happen but we're very thrilled that the opportunity came back around again and we're making the most of every show this fall.
We kicked the tour off on 10/3 at the Grill on 21st in Newark, Ohio with the Maruniaks, Saving Jane and Hinder and we shared the outdoor space with a little over 4,000 people. We have approximately 5 more shows with WNCI so please listen to Dave and Jimmy in the morning on 97.9 WNCI to find out where the tour stops are going to be. We hope to see all of you who supported us over the years and we promise it will be a great time full of many special guests and big surprises.
