The Three Star Bakery was born out of frustration. And booze. And a grotty little rock den. It seems that we live in a world where talent counts for nothing and hype is everything. For some anyway. Without hype and a shit load of cash, it seems that a lot of fucken great rock'n'roll slips by the wayside, and it's memory gets pranced over by mincing funboy/ fungirl wishy washy, talentless crap. Bop. Bop.
Ultimately, when the Bakery officially opens, it will be as an independent rock'n'roll record label (and one that is not nearly as jaded with the current state of affairs as change is well and truly in the air), dedicated purely to damn fine rock bands and that precious first recording, helping them on the road to all things bigger and better.
Like taking a talented bugger of a little fish, and helping make it the big fish it knows it really is under all those scales and barnacles, and then with the help of a springboard and a turbo charged hormone shot to the gills, that god damn fish can take a run up and drop one mother of bombie in the big fish pond.
In it's current stage of infancy, The Bakery is operating out the back of sweatshop as Management, PR/ Promotions, Graphic Design and Merchandise. And doing a marvelous job at that too (not to mention frothing at the mouth with more bravado than your nanna on National Bravado Nanna Day).
