Well, we started by listening to The Police and Marvelous 3. Then we threw in keyboards from Rush and Motion City Soundtrack. We went to a lot of shows and saw bands like Madison and Armor for Sleep, and bands like Saves The Day and Brand New brought it all together.
Threeve is a band of brothers that travels the land playing rock and roll music, in a fashion similar to that of The Partridge Family, but not nearly as cool. Hailing from southern Bergen County in the great state of New Jersey, Threeve sets out with a sound that is welcome to ears eager for something new, while cleverly forgetting to sound like everyone else.
Of course, one could go on and tell you how Threeve has shared the stage with acts like Houston Calls, Dave Melillo, Day at the Fair and Madison (Rushmore/Drive-Thru Records), The Sleeping (Victory Records), Cute is What We Aim For (Fueled by Ramen Records), Just Surrender (Broken English) and Tokyo Rose (Sidecho Records), but in most cases, one would simply let the music speak for itself.
rich you scared me a tad bit with the bulletin..after my show getting canceled and finding that out..made me and chrissy a little sad...it would break our hearts to not see you guys play again
