I JUST ADDED 2 NEW SONGS. A Final version of my musical critique of cliche in popular music using Newspeak as an analogy has been finalized. This song is called Poseur and it looks at the pros and cons of genera. ALSO my newest song ATONE is a salute to a series of conversations that I had with Richard (DJ Velveteen) and this song is a compromise between our different views of the cultural taming of instinct (in other words human domestication).
***I hope to start recording (MUCH) better tracks in the next month. They still won't be professional, but since I will be recording them, then I can afford to spend a lot of time on them.
Threshold Dose is a solo industrial project that Lauritz Dieckman has been working on for several years. After graduating from college he has dedicated his life to working on music (until he goes back to neurology). Threshold Dose is an experiment in taking the writer and the listener past the very border of... well anything we decide to focus on. So far Lauritz has used Threshold Dose as a tool to embrace his more destructive and sensation starved archetypes. His first album, entitled "Flesh Game" is starting in the body and working inward into the mind on a search for the essence of "soul" beyond emotion, awareness, and concepts of individuality. With an academically enriched understanding of instinct and enculturation, Threshold Dose is a venture at understanding being, in the thralls of emotion and desire.
Threshold Dose is also an attempt to mix hard industrial with melodic/metal style vocals. It is also attempting to have danceable rhythm without taking away from the savageness of metal and industrial.
If you would like to book Threshold Dose please write me here. I would love to play shows with virtually any type of music, though hard electronic is preferred. Thank you very much for your interest. As they are recorded with out parameter manipulation, I will rerelease the songs from my demo and more songs will be recorded and posted soon.
