The album has this week risen 34 places in
UK album charts, coming in at #20 this week!
The album has also spent an entire
week at #1 on the iTunes UK
charts!

Michael Jackson turns 50 on August
29 and Sony BMG Music Entertainment,
are giving his Australian fans the
chance to congratulate Michael and
celebrate with him by choosing the
track list for Michael's new
Australian album release 'King Of
Pop'. Sony are also holding a party
in Sydney called
MJ50
for Australian fans to celebrate the
occasion.
The US Library of Congress
has officially added Michael Jackson's Thriller to its National
Recording Registry. In an effort to preserve records deemed
"culturally and aesthetically significant", the Library has
archived the album's "best existing version" its existence in
perpetuity. Aside from being the biggest selling album of all
time, Thriller also contained two #1 hit singles, world record
seven Top 10 singles, remained on Billboard's Top 10 for over
one year, won 8 Grammy awards including one for Best Album and
was recently inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
