We are currently working on post-production of our 2nd documentary style movie, Return to Schralptown, which is an effort to capture the emotion, stuggle, and elation of backcountry skiing and snowboarding. The movie gives personal insight into the pursuits and motivations of ski/snowboard mountaineers while focusing on environmental stewardship, avalanche awareness, and innovation in the sport.
Return to Schralptown will feature the deep powder of Utah, secret stashes in the Colorado backcountry, Sean Crossen’s quest to ski all of Colorado’s 14,000 ft peaks, the emerging splitboard revolution, the exploration of the Scandinavian Glacier deep in the Chugach Range of Alaska, and a trip to discover new lines in Argentina.
