THRILLZ was an American East Coast Rock And Metal band based out of New Haven, Connecticut that was together from 1982-1987. This is the pre-THUNDERHEAD band with future in-your-face frontman/guitarist Ted "Bullet" Pulit in it.
All of these recordings except the 1983 version of the song "Last Mistake" (which was recorded at Audio West Recording Studios in West Haven, Connecticut by the inimitable Joe Mendyk) were produced in conjunction with Polygon Productions and engineered by Bill "Billy" Burke at both Chelsea Sound in New York City, New York and Audio West in Connecticut during mid-to-late 1984 and early 1985 with the line-up of all the original members.
Shortly after this group of songs was finished, three of the original members including guitarist/vocalist Michael Brochin -- with whom he had played previously in a band called DOUG DEREK & THE HOAX -- went their own separate ways in May of 1985, leaving Ted "Bullet" Pulit to continue THRILLZ with a new second line-up that included guitarist Ronnie Cerrito, bassist/vocalist Gary Corso and drummer Erick Onofrio (with whom Pulit was a member early on in the band ROADWORK - and who would be replaced in THRILLZ by Bobby Torello in '86) through 1987.
These rare recordings have never been released or even heard publicly until the posting of this official MySpace profile, and are now part of a 5-song digital EP that was released in early 2008 via the Internet Music Media digital recording label.
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
