The band's origin is relatively unknown, though the following was found scribbled on a restroom stall door at Cora's Breakfast & Lunch:
THROATMOTOR currently resides as a one-man project in Moncton, New Brunswick. Previously from Ottawa, band founder (Trev!) relocated closer to his roots, and set up shop. He has carefully constructed robots to assist him in his noizturbating, and will be posting new stuff very soon.
Electrothrash/synthpunk was a description of the bands sound on garageband.com. Promoting their new independent CD(s) by shooting hundreds of them out of a cannon, the band hopes to share their patented brand of cereal-box synthnoize with whomever cares to listen, or would like some cereal.
Yipes, you guys have been quiet on a lot of fronts lately (not even an update since april) - are you still kicking around or did the worst just come to pass with the band? 8*(~
Y'know, immortality sounds great on paper, but really, the sun will burn out in about 2 billion years and freeze the planet. If you survive, the Milky Way galaxy will crash into the Andromeda galaxy in 4 billion. If you survive again, the universe will tear itelf out of exsistence due to gravity in about 23 billion. So physically immortal or not, you're still dead.
We had to cancel our show at the Avant Garde Bar for NOV. 12th. You guys should call Mike there and get a gig lined up. I think they were looking for a local band to play w them.
