"Friend Ike, you're one of the best of the of the Old West."

Evel Knievel 1938 - 2007 Happy landings pard, you were the greatest.
"I love your show, I think your show is going to be a hit. I think people like to have people on that can sit and reminisce about old times. I think it brings back old memories, I think it brings back old memories that stir some of us in our hearts and helps us think about the things that happened in those days.
I think you guys are doing a wonderful job. I can only say thank you so much for having me on, I really appreciate it."
On May 25th, Ike broke his back (a compression fracture of the L1 vertebrae) and is in a good deal of pain. I've been in touch with him and want you to know that he appreciates everyone's good thoughts, wishes and prayers.
While he is recovering, Ike isn't able to be on the computer as per normal and may not be able to get back to you in a timely manner. However, he still plans to be on the Haunted Saloon show every Tuesday night.
126 years ago on October 26, 1881, 19 year old Billy Clanton (Ike's cousin four generations removed) was gunned down and murdered in the streets of Tombstone Arizona by Wyatt Earp, his brothers and Doc Holliday. This tragic shooting “The Gunfight At OK Corral” is the most famous gunfight in history and still very controversial today.
When Ike was old enough to understand he was related to the Clanton’s of Tombstone, he began his search for the truth of what really happened to his family that cold overcast day in Tombstone.
So far public speaking engagements and spoken word performances have been Ike’s best form of media to educate the world with the truth about his family, Tombstone and the famous gunfight. In honor of his fallen cousin William Harrison “Billy” Clanton, Ike has released his first spoken word album “IKE CLANTON, THE BARD OF TOMBSTONE” is now on sale online at CDBaby.com.
Ike Clanton “Then & Now"
Terry "Ike" Clanton is a fourth generation cousin of Joseph "Ike" Clanton of Tombstone and OK Corral gunfight fame. Family history and the town of Tombstone Arizona has been a big part of Ike’s life, and always will be. For years Hollywood movies have made his family out to be some of the worst outlaws in American history. Although the truth is a much more fascinating story, he realizes that his public speaking engagements and Internet web sites will never have the same impact that Hollywood has had reaching millions of people. Who knows maybe an executive producer will come knocking about Tombstone II, a screenplay Ike wrote in 2003 telling the Clanton's side of the story.
“Entertaining people is my life, acting is my life passion’ says Clanton. Ike began acting in community theatre when he was 7 years old and he’s loved it ever since. Ike is currently working on “HAUNTED SALOON” the worlds first “Live” Internet TV western. The show is a “Live” non-stop one hour Internet TV show every Tuesday night 10PM eastern 7PM pacific at www.HauntedSaloon.com
Based in an 1880’s saloon atmosphere, HAUNTED SALOON LiveTV has been called everything from Wayne’s World of the old west to Larry King “Live” drinking whiskey. “It’s a fun show to work on every week and the ratings are absolutely off the hook. We now have viewers in 86 countries, how cool is that” says Ike. Stop by the shows web site and see for yourself, theirs hundreds of video clips of past shows at www.HauntedSaloon.com
Ike is currently in the studio recording some new work that he will start featuring on this page soon. “Look for something different on the new album I’m currently working on. I will never forget my roots, but my creative skills are taking me beyond my family heritage and the old west. I’m currently writing some works that will entertain a broader audience” says Clanton.
“Why She’s The Greatest” the bonus track on Ike’s album “The Bard Of Tombstone” was inspirited by the late great John Mitchum whom Ike met at a film festival in Tombstone in 2000. Mr. Mitchum was a great poet who wrote one of my all time favorites “America, Why I Love Her” voiced by the legendary John Wayne. “Why She’s The Greatest” is my own tribute in my own words to Mr. Mitchum and John Wayne, two outstanding American actors and talents.
If you enjoy Ike’s work, please feel free to add them to your page. Your comments are also greatly appreciated.
If you actually read through all, stop squinting and send Ike a quick note to let him know that someone actually read this. (No, you don't get a cookie!)

Hi Ike. I heard about the boating accident. I was glad to see you on the Haunted Saloon tonight. I hope everything is going to be okay. Rest and take care of yourself. Ike, cowboys don't like water, except for their monthly bath before going to town. Stay on land and keep your socks dry. Get better soon. Randy
