Recently I had the opportunity to catch one of THROTTLE’s live shows. This one was at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA and the place was packed! The large amount of people there seemed to be in anticipation of them taking the stage, and once they did, I could see why. THROTTLE delivered a high energy, hard hitting performance with blistering guitar riffs, powerful percussion and bold vocals, capturing and keeping the focus of all, throughout the evening.
If you are ever in the mood for a solid rock band who can easily deliver, I would recommend catching a show by THROTTLE!

In October of 2003, Los Angeles based guitarist Gil Oyola and bassist Rudy Robles, began recording what would become their CD demo “Changes” (April 2005). As a power-trio, the band would take the stage throughout Southern California delivering one blistering set after another.
In December of 2007, THROTTLE was chosen out of 100 bands to appear on the Fox Sports Network’s “Sports Science”. The episode entitled “Out of control” was broadcast in over twenty-two countries around the world highlighting the bands’ performance. The international exposure yielded endorsements with Hartke, ZOOM, Samson Technologies, Mammoth Guitars and Fernandez Guitars.
Having been invited to run “direct support” with such legendary names as the Michael Schenker Group, Paul DiAnno (Iron Maiden) Glen Hughes (Deep Purple), Vinnie Moore, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), UFO and Heavy Metal masters Flotsam & Jetsam, THROTTLE is geared up, and has it’s pedal to the METAL...
