THF'S VISION/MISSION: Our Mission We want to reach out through the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whosoever’s in our diverse community. We want to develop disciples of Jesus Christ through the teachings of the Word and Spiritual Growth. We want to encourage each other through fellowship with one another and with those within the community. We want to worship God through our praises, lifting of hands, singing, prayer and through testifying what He has done for each of us. We want to meet the needs of our community through our service to them in times of need. Our Core Values: Fruits of the Spirit “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23) LOVE “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Mathew 19:19) JOY “Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10) PEACE “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) LONGSUFFERING / PATIENCE “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience” (Luke 8:15) GENTLENESS / KINDNESS “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.” “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32) GOODNESS “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21) “Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.” (Psalms 16:1-3) FAITH “Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” (2 Corinthians 5:7) MEEKNESS / HUMILITY “To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.” (Titus 3:2) TEMPERANCE / SEF CONTROL “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God” (James 1:19-20) We believe that this verse best summarizes our Core Values: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 1:4-8) TO GIVE A TAX DEDUCTABLE GIFT ONLINE PLEASE VISIT HERE: https://co.clickandpledge.com/sp/d1/default.aspx?wid=23941

About me:

We are a LOVING group of people who are interested in sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Not everyone knows God but everyone has the right to know him. There are many unreached people in this world that do not know who Jesus is. As Christians, we want to reach these people. If you are interested in finding out more about our church please email us at throughhimfellowship@gmail.com We can not reach the unreached, unless we step out from behind our stained glass windows in order to touch stained lives. "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy (compassion), and find grace to help in time of need". Hebrews4:16 If you are interested or have that special talent, please feel free to drop us a line - we would love to hear from you. Everyone is welcome! ..Christian Myspace ..

Who I'd like to meet:

Message From Our Senior Pastor: It is nothing new or profound to say that we are entering a time of change and transition. But after praying and thinking about what to write fro this initial communication, I am led to give a few perspectives on the transition that lies ahead, or to be more accurate, that has already begun. The key for us in this Elijah-Elisha Experience is two-fold. First, let us make sure that we take advantage of this time to create positive growth rather than allowing it to be a time of stagnation. Second, since we know that the transition may involve some faith challenges, let us not be too quick to shrink away from them. Unhealthy avoidance of challenges is the surest way to discourage the good growth that God desires. Think of this entire transition in this perspective: God is showing us that to move forward in faithfulness to the mission he has given us we need a different set of gifts embodied in a fresh anointing. I believe most of you realize this as well. We need to allow each person to be who God has called them to be, and to rejoice in their strengths, while partnering with them to fill in the gaps. God gave this ministry a spirit of grace and flexibility; it is both notable and noticeable. One of the greatest things I appreciate about “THF” is the victorious spirit of Founding Pastor Ken with which he has weathered many challenges. Each time, he has seemed to come out with clear precise instructions from the heart of God concerning what is best for his people. With two choices set before him; he heard the will of God and moved to make it manifested. I pray that the same spirit will be at work in us, in extra measure, as we move through the next few months of transition. I believe that God has called and anointed me to be here for “such a time as this.” (Esther 4:15) Finally, the lines of communication are always open. I devote much time in the study of the Word of God so that I am always preaching from the overflow anointing. Therefore, your best counsel will come in our teaching and preaching opportunities. My door is always open, phone is in good working order and email receives messages 24 hours a day. I appreciate your prayers and willingness to covenant with me now and in the days ahead. Thank you for the joy and privilege of releasing the anointing on my life into yours. Through Him, Pastor Wayne T. Harris, JR.

Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ! I've been given a prayer request and I'm passing it on to others who know how to hit Heaven! I have a friend whose sister has not been in contact with anyone since New Years Eve. She's 25 years old and her name is Jennifer. She lives in the St. Louis metro area. Please pray for a safe return.
    Thank you
