The 2 vocal tryout tracks were performed and mixed by our keyboard player except for the drums. They are only scratch tracks and they are going to be on our upcoming full-length release
Through These Eyes, a harmonious hardcore/metal band from San Diego, is just about to release their first full-length album. The band was formed by Singer Jose Lopez and drummer, Fabian Rivera, who had wanted to start a hardcore band. They invited friends from former bands to play ( Matt Guzman; keyboardist, Jon Sumilang and Scott Sniffin; Guitar, and Marc Favila; Bass) and began writing immediately. They always put on an energetic performance, ever since their first and favorite show they put on at the Epicentre for the Battle of the Bands. Their new EP that is coming out, features some unique artwork.?
With each new song, they are trying to do something different without being too diverse."Our main goal is to try something creative and not be repetitive while still sticking to a certain style." Their diversity in their music goes beyond the simple hardcore break downs and 2 stepping riffs. The keyboards gives a sinister, horror movie effect; quite different from the norm.
Through These Eyes would really like to consider themselves as a blend of melodic metal and hardcore. They wanted to change the genre a bit, creating something different to the music despite the monotony of hardcore music altogether.
They would like to note that, "This type of music is so much fun, people get into it and its just exciting and not so plain and boring, we want to add something new to the San Diego hardcore/metal scene."
