Last summer our song Never Forget aired on Discovery Health Channel's - Dr. G Medical Examiner. The episode was called Kiss of Death. Nice right? Watch for reruns if you missed it. This summer we've also got another song slated for use on the show. We'll let you know when we know more.

TORTUGA BAR - STORM EP (VIERSIEBEN RECORDS/FINETUNES) OUT NOW!

This online EP release (5 Tracks & Artwork) is not just an appetizer for the album which follows on June 26 - among the album versions of "Storm" (feat. Evan Dando) and "Feel the Love" it contains a remix of "Storm", made by labelmates Monocular, the track "Cavallo Pazzo (Song For Mondo Fumatore To Sing)" feat. Werner Kureinski, former member of Aheads and "Do It Right", a nice version of the Daniel Johnston song performed by Tortuga Bar and Navel.

MONOCULAR - "Water Shape EP" - Release!

We are very proud to announce, that Monocular s "Water Shape EP" is available at your favorite Online-Store now.

Containing the single "Water Shape" from the forthcoming album "Somewhere On The Line" (April 03, 2009 VierSieben Records/Alive) and three non-album tracks ("Consequence", "To Admire The Life", "Ravenclaw"), it is definitely a must have for all fans of filigree and athmospheric electrosounds.

Where bands like Lamb or Frou Frou left a gap in the late 90s and early 21st century, Monocular redefined the sound and set new standards in developing their complex music by connecting charismatic vocals with entrancing soundscapes.

Jonesy, I love 'Eastbound train'. I am amazed how much you improve your singing and technique an album after another. I mean I thought you were good in your first album. You are the true artist, my man! I miss you, my friend. -BD

"The way to find out about happiness is to keep your mind on those moments when you feel most happy, when you are really happy not excited, not just thrilled, but deeply happy. This requires a little bit of self-analysis. What is it that makes you happy? Stay with it, no matter what people tell you. This is what is called following your bliss.

James and Dave,
It's been awhile, I just got back last week from the national tour and I thought I'd check up on your myspace. It's good to hear you had a good cd release show. The instrumental on the kimon site is fabulous. Keep up the good work guys.
