Start with a canvas of post grunge. Blend colors of heavy rock and alternative metal thoroughly. Use light brush strokes of hardcore breakdowns. Spray on a shimmering top coat of melodic vocals. Frame with alt rock and hang in a dimly lit area.

Throwing Ashes has created a unique sound all its own.
Formed in 2005 by singer/guitarist Donovan Harrod and guitarist/backup vocalist Tony Syphus, Throwing Ashes has been seeking dedicated members to complete the line up for some time. After 2 years of searching to no avail, Donovan and Tony decided to record and perform the drums and bass on the upcoming EP. Currently in the studio, they continue to seek like minded and professional individuals to play local shows, tour nationally and record a full length album.
