Music
The only three acts that I own every album they cut are Clutch, Social Distortion and Tom Waits. Other than that, the 700 other CDs I own can fight for attention.
Movies
Again, I own about 1000 movies, but Shaolin Soccer and It's A Wonderful life are at the top. Anything with a roundhouse kick or a dinosaur is jake with me.
Television
Battlestar Galactica (best show on television),UFC, Family Guy, The Simpsons and Iron Chef. Chen Kenichi is my bitch!!!
Books
This just keeps getting worse. Maybe I have a problem, but there are 1500 books on my shelves (that I haven't even read yet). See way I'd rather lose a finger than move? The top 3 are Cider House Rules, A Confederacy of Dunces and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay.
Keep in mind UNCONVENTIONAL will also be available as a FREE audiobook, downloadable via podiobooks.com, jjhebert.net, and iTunes in July! JOIN THE NEWSLETTER AT JJHEBERT.NET TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS!

Please join my email list (see front pg. of www.jjhebert.net) to receive my awesome newsletter, which I use to keep subscribers informed about giveaways, contests, book releases, and other stuff, like most recently--an announcement that UNCONVENTIONAL will not only be released as a paperback in July but also as a free serialized podcast, narrated by Jeff Kafer, an award-winning voice over artist! That's right, you'll be able to listen to each episode (i.e. three chapters) at podiobooks.com, jjhebert.net, and/or via your iPod. I hope you enjoy it!
Marisol and Gai were on their knees, hands cupped over their ears with tears running down their faces. It was difficult to keep my eyes open, but they revealed something terrifying. The silhouettes on the horizon were moving faster, much faster. They were sprinting towards us with frightening speed. I ran to Marisol and Gai and grabbed them both by the arm—pulling them in the direction of the truck—but Marisol resisted.
I threw a pointed index finger towards the growing horde running towards us and mouthed inaudible words. Finally Marisol saw the figures coming towards us and started running back towards the truck. Rusty was firing shots into sprinting creatures on the other side of the highway before looking back towards us. Looking over my shoulder revealed the shadows were no more than half a minute behind us. The monsters no longer moaned: they screamed.

I'm editing A Demon Awaits, getting it ready for press. The book will be released October 15, so I'm in overdrive for the next two weeks. The early feedback is great and I've got a few events already lined up for the fall.
It's a great day here in NE. I might even have to hit the pool when my eyesight gets fuzzy from all the reading.
